In autumn 2020 CSOK, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, is preparing an international professional conference on EXPLORATION, MINING AND PROCESSING OF MINERALS AND MINERAL RAW MATERIALS IN CENTRAL ASIA.

The conference is part of the long-term raw materials diplomacy of the Czech Republic. The aim of the conference is to bring the highest representatives of the ministries of geology and raw materials policy of Central Asian countries to one table. These are, in particular, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran.

The international conference is an extraordinary opportunity for the Czech professional business community. The conference will be held under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Trade and Minister of  Transport of Czech Republic, Mr. Karel Havlíček, who confirmed his personal participation in the conference. The participating Czech companies thus have the opportunity of personal contact with representatives of the raw materials industry of the above-mentioned Central Asian countries, where ,with the support of the Czech state and the chamber, they can gain significant business opportunities. The conference will be directly followed by independent trade and business missions organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and CSOK to countries that has participated in international professional conference. In June of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is holding a working meeting of Czech companies with representatives of the Department of Raw Materials Policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the management of ČSOK. The preparation of the professional conference content will be discussed, including the requirements and proposals of the Czech industry towards foreign participants.
