The delegation of the CSOK leadership met at a working meeting with representatives of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Czech Republic. The embassy team was strengthened by an experienced expert whose task is to develop trade and investment cooperation between the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan.
During the negotiations, both parties informed about the current possibilities of international trade cooperation under the new conditions, which are negatively affected by the current global pandemic.
The main topics of the meeting presented by CSOK concerned the support of exports of Czech industry in the field of technologies and equipment for the mining industry, municipal management (water supply and sewerage), disposal of municipal waste and renewable energy sources. Representatives were also discussing the topics conected with health, medical supplies and pharmacy, international interuniversity cooperation, science education and research.
The Kazakh side is very interested in the entry of Czech industry into Kazakhstan, where Czech companies would develop the so-called localization of production. This would significantly increase the success of the entry of Czech industry on the Central Asian markets.
CSOK is preparing a specified offer suitable for the Kazakh market, as well as a business trip to Kazakhstan, which will take place during March 2021.
