On Wednesday, July 10, took place a working meeting of the CSOK with a delegation of the Olympic Committee of Afghanistan.
Alexander Skrebeiko, an advisor to the President of the CSOK and Rector of the Academy of International relations, trade and diplomacy and Ing.Farid Yar, CSOK Permanent Representative in Afghanistan and Head of the Afghan-Czech Relations Center accepted the delegation on behalf of the Chamber.
The Afghan delegation was led by dr. Hafizullah Wali Rahimi, in his entourage was President of the Afghanistan Tennis Federation, Abdul Azim and other sports officials.
The main topic was to find solutions for the development of cooperation in the field of Olympic sports in Afghanistan with the aim of integrating the latest technologies into sport with the possibility of participation of the Czech sports professionals and trainers to increase the performance of Afghan Olympic athletes and create new training programs.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Afghan Olympic Committee and the Center for Afghanistan signed the Czech Cooperation Agreement.
